This year has seen lots of reporting on the Range Rover, mainly because Land Rover’s modern icon has reached the grand old age of forty. Hard to believe in some ways that the familiar, boxy silhouette of the Range Rover has been around so long, but in others it feels like the Rangie has always been a part of the car landscape. But that familiarity probably owes a lot to the very long periods between significant changes in the Range Rover’s shape.

This is the first official image of the new Aston Martin Rapide four-door super-saloon. Obtained exclusively by CAR Magazine, this computer-generated rendering from Aston shows the final production form of its new Rapide saloon. Lamborghini used the Beijing auto show to display some its Ad Personam wares on the Aventador LP 700-4. The Nazionale gets a coat of white paint that Lambo calls “bianco opalis” and Italian flag-inspired racing stripes up the middle. The interior leather is done in black and blue.
